Najran Cement Company launches the application Wasel, the first of its kind at the level of Saudi Cement Companies

Najran Cement Company celebrated today the launch of (Wasel) application, the first application of its kind at the level of Saudi cement companies, which provides an integrated electronic service for selling and delivering cement to the Company's B2B customers. The application aims to enable the Company's customers to benefit from Wasel service and facilitate the process of ordering, delivering and receiving cement, and ensuring that it arrives quickly and professionally.

The CEO of Najran Cement Company, Mr. Abdulsalam bin Abdullah Aldraibi, said "by the grace of Allah, we launched today Wasel application, as part of the Wasel Digital System, which consists of several modules. The development of this system started at the end of 2023 and its modules were gradually launched during 2024 according to the priority of the operational need. Today all modules of the system have been successfully completed and the system has been linked to other supporting systems such as the vehicle tracking system and the Waybill issuance system by Public Transport Authority, which formed an integrated digital infrastructure that facilitated the operations and business integration between Najran Cement Company and its Transport Company -Wasl Al-Janoub Land Transport Company- and enabled efficient fleet management, in order to provide better service to the customers. The Wasel application represents the link between Najran Cement Company's customers and Wasel Digital System, where the application enables customers to order cement of all kinds, follow up on requests and access their data 24 hours 7 days a week. It allows scheduling future orders based on customer needs which provide unique customer experience. This step comes as part of a series of initiatives and projects that Najran Cement Company continues to launch since its inception to achieve sustainability in its business and improve the level of service provided to its customers.

It is worth noting that the Company had taken the initiative to invest in the field of transport through the establishment of Wasl Al-Janoub Land Transport Company in 2020, where its business was focused on providing the service of transporting production input materials that are used in the cement industry for Najran Cement Company, which contributed to reducing the Company's operational cost. Then the Transport Company expanded its operation and services by providing cement delivery service to Najran Cement Company's customers through a fleet of trucks that operate with the latest technologies, which are linked to Wasel Digital System, which enables the customer to follow up on their orders directly through the application from the moment of ordering cement until it arrives at the customer's site and authenticating the delivery and receipt process digitally with ease.

The Wasel application is currently available for Android devices and can be downloaded from Google Play Store, and the IOS version will be launched in the coming period for iPhone users.
