Mobily inks hosting agreement with Red Bull Mobile

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) signed, on Sept. 5, a hosting agreement with Red Bull Mobile (Future Networks Communications Co.).

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the contract includes hosting Red Bull Mobile as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) on Mobily’s network for six years.

The cumulative contract value over a six-year period represents more than 5% of Mobily’s 2023 annual revenue, the telecom company said, expecting a positive financial impact starting from Q4 2025.

This agreement offers Mobily the opportunity to expand its market reach and improve operational efficiency by leveraging its existing network infrastructure to host MVNOs, the statement added, indicating that the deal is not a related party transaction.
