Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose 12% to SAR 2.84 trillion in June 2024, compared to nearly SAR 2.54 trillion in June 2023, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Private sector lending also increased 11% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.69 trillion in the same month.

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to non-financial government institutions jumped 19% YoY to about SAR 156.8 billion by the end of June.
