Shams names Al Bawardi Chairman, Al-Suwailem Deputy

Tourism Enterprises Co.’s (Shams) newly elected board of directors decided on May 28 to appoint Khaled Al Bawardi as Chairman and Abdullah Al-Suwailem as Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The board also formed the audit committee, headed by Rashid Al-Rasheed; the nomination and remuneration committee, headed by Wael Al-Rashed; and the development and investment committee, headed by Abdullah Al-Suwailem.

The board's secretary and the company's representative to the Capital Market Authority, Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), and Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) were also appointed for all purposes related to applying the Capital Market Law and its executive regulations.
