Ataa signs MoU with BGE to launch Buckswood British School in Riyadh

Ataa Educational Co. signed today, May 15, a memorandum of understanding with Buckswood Education Global (BGE) to launch a Buckswood British School in Riyadh, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The MoU, which has a 90-day term, entails investing in the Kingdom's educational field by establishing a company to manage and operate educational schools, as well as providing the International Baccalaureate program for the kindergarten, primary, intermediate, and secondary stages for boys and girls.

This is in accordance with the license number (102164511286223) issued by the Ministry of Investment on May 14, 2024, the statement added.

The company's schools will use advanced international educational curricula that consider the Arabic language and principles, values, and etiquette compatible with the culture and values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The related financial impact will be determined later, Ataa said.

The move is in line with Vision 2030 and part of the program of attracting international schools, as well as Saudi Arabia’s Regional Headquarters Program.

It is also consistent with Riyadh's developmental vision of becoming one of the world's leading economic cities, the company explained.
