ROSHN Real Estate Co. aims to increase its reliance on the domestic market for construction to 60%, CEO David Grover said in a statement to Al Arabiya.

He added that developers are securing materials like cement, aluminum, and iron domestically and internationally, due to global supply chain fragility.

Grover mentioned collaborating with ministries, particularly the Ministry of Investment, to help local companies grow, increase Saudi's supply chain independence, and exploit the country's vast opportunities.

He noted that supply chain issues limit achieving current local market construction targets, but providing an estimate of requirement helps local manufacturers to enhance capabilities and meet the company’s needs in three to four years.

Grover also said the company's community development goes beyond housing, and includes living spaces to improve life quality. This involves controlling and developing various assets with foreign and local investors.

Finally, he highlighted the company's nationwide activities with plans in Riyadh, a residential project in Jeddah, upcoming work in Makkah, a plan in Al Hofuf, and a Dammam project this year.
