Leejam opens 3 new Men Xpress Fitness Centers

Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) opened on Dec. 31 three new Men Xpress Fitness Centers in Jeddah, Buraydah, and Ar Rass. 

The three centers will operate with a 24-hour, low-cost operating model but without swimming pools. In addition, they will be digitally enabled with very flexible subscriptions, starting with a minimum commitment of one month and at a reasonable price, to make access to fitness clubs and sports facilities more convenient, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The newly opened centers, which will be under the brand "Fitness Time Xpress," entail: a 765-square-meter center in Al Shati district, Jeddah; a 1,080-square-meter center in Ar Rayan district, Buraydah; and a 950-square-meter center in Al Hazm district, Ar Rass.

With these openings, the total number of operational Xpress centers has reached 35 since the launch of the Fitness Time Xpress series in November 2020, the company stated. The centers will feature high-quality sports equipment and the latest designs for the fitness halls.

The financial impact is expected to appear in the fourth quarter of 2023, the statement added.

The three new centers bring the total number of Fitness Time centers and halls operating inside and outside the Kingdom to 186, said Leejam, adding that further announcements on new centers will be made in the coming weeks.
