Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) signed a contract worth SAR 38.53 million (VAT inclusive) with the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI), according to a statement to Tadawul.
The project includes the production and updating of national geospatial and land coverage databases through high-resolution satellite images.
It is aimed at planning engineering projects and identifying target sites, in addition to enhancing the research capabilities and detailed studies of GASGI.
The project term is 24 months, said the company, expecting the related financial impact to be reflected on its Q4 2023 results. It noted that there are no related parties to the contract.
MIS was awarded the contract from GASGI in July, according to Argaam's data.
