KEIR International signs SAR 29.9 mln contract with Interior Ministry

KEIR International Co. signed, on June 8, a 24-month contract with the Ministry of Interior worth SAR 29.9 million, including 15% VAT.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company stated that the project aims to link the ministry's sites in Riyadh and Makkah to the fiber-optic network.

The financial impact of the deal is expected to take place within two years from the signing, the statement added. The deal aims to expand the infrastructure of the Ministry of Interior's fiber optic network by connecting ministry sites in Riyadh and Makkah to the network.

According to Argaam data, the contract was awarded to KEIR in December 2022.

It includes connecting the 49 sites to the fiber-optic network, the supply and installation of inside and outside plant, as well as the supply and operation of cyber security systems for the network.

Training on the network systems is also included within the project framework.
