Kingdom Holding invests additional SAR 274.2 mln in Phoenix Group

Kingdom Holding Co. (KHC) announced SAR 274.2 million (£58.7 million) as additional investment in Phoenix Group, increasing the Saudi company’s ownership in the UK-based insurance, savings and retirement firm to 5% from 4%, according to a statement on Tadawul.

 

In July 2022, KHC announced an investment of SAR 1.06 billion (£232.98 million) in Phoenix Group, Argaam earlier reported.

 

Founded in 1782, Phoenix Group is deemed the top savings and pension company and one of the largest insurance companies in the UK. Holding over 240 years of experience in the UK and Europe, the company serves over 13 million customers, with over £310 billion.
