Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. (JADCO) expected trial operations at its French fries factory to begin in the third quarter of 2023.

The project is 50% complete as scheduled, JADCO said in a statement to Tadawul, noting that there is no change in the project costs.

In December 2020, JADCO’s board of directors approved establishing a factory to produce French fries at a total investment cost of SAR 70 million, Argaam earlier reported.

The self-financed project was initially expected to complete in the first quarter of 2023. Trial and commercial production were scheduled to begin in 2023.
