Najran Cement board appoints new audit committee member

Najran Cement Co.’s (NCC) board of directors approved, on Oct. 17, the appointment of Ziyad AlJared (independent) as a member of the audit committee, effective immediately until Aug. 8, 2025, the company said in a statement to Tadawul. 

The board decision will be put up for approval during the coming general assembly meeting. 

AlJared holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from King Abdul Aziz University. 

He has more than 17 years of administrative and operational experience in many public and private joint-stock companies, such as Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC). 

AlJared currently serves as an independent board member of NCC. 

In addition, he held membership on the boards of directors of several companies.
