East Pipes audit committee member resigns

East Pipes Integrated Co.’s board of directors approved today, July 28, the resignation of audit committee member, Rupak Ghosh, with immediate effect, according to a bourse filing.

Meanwhile, the board approved the recommendation of the nominations and remuneration committee to appoint Viswanathan Kollengode as member of the audit committee from today until the end of the current committee term.

The decision will be presented to the upcoming general assembly for approval.

Kollengode holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce from University of Mumbai and worked as advisor for a number of medium and large firms in the areas of internal audit, merger and acquisition (M&A) as well as restructuring strategies. He also held management positions in several companies, including Essar Group and Shogun Group.
