Bahri shares record lowest close since 2013

Shares of National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) dropped by 3% to end the session at SAR 18.70 apiece — its lowest close since November 2013, with a trading value of SAR 3.2 million.  

The stock registered its lowest price at SAR 18.50 earlier in the session. 

Established in 1978, Bahri is deemed the first national transportation firm, standing today among the largest transportation companies worldwide.

Bahri and its subsidiaries operate in the purchase and sale of ships for cargo handling. This is besides participating in maritime transport operations, clearing and coordinating goods on board ships and other means of transportation, warehouse handling and all operations related to maritime transport. The company exercises its activities through four different sectors, namely oil, chemical, general cargo and dry bulk transportation.
