Wataniya Insurance pays SAR 19.8 mln compensation for unsubscribed rights issue shares

Wataniya Insurance Co. announced, in a bourse filing, that a total of SAR 19.8 million was distributed today, June 2, as compensation to rights issue owners who did not exercise their rights to subscribe to the new shares.

 

The amount was deposited in the bank accounts of eligible investors.

 

The subscription process to the company's rights shares ended on May 12, according to Argaam's data.

 

The subscription period started on April 25, to increase the company’s capital from SAR 200 million to SAR 400 million, through a rights issue of 20 million shares, at SAR 10 each.
