Budget Saudi appoints audit committee member

United International Transportation Co. (Budget Saudi) appointed Ahmed Abdullatif Al-Barrak as an audit committee member, effective as of May 15, 2022, according to a bourse filing.

Al-Barrak will replace Khalid Abdullah Al-Dabal who resigned on May 15.

The resignation came in compliance with the governance requirements for the formation of an audit committee. This is due to the transformation of Al-Dabal's membership status from an independent board member to a non-executive member, as he spent nine consecutive years as a member of the company’s board.

The board's decision is not final, and will be submitted to the upcoming general assembly meeting for approval.
