The Idle Lands Program announced that the total number of invoices issued since the launch of the program exceeded 8,300 in the cities, where the fees were applied.

 

In a statement, the program stated that the invoicing for the sixth cycle of the first phase in Riyadh was issued on more than 150 land plots located within the declared urban range, spanning more than 100 million square meters (sqm).

 

The program called on the concerned land owners to develop their lands or pay the fees within a year from the decision date.

 

The idle land fees began to be enforced on June 8, 2016, according to data compiled by Argaam.
