Arabian Shield says consideration shares listed, merger with Alahli Takaful completed

Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. announced that the consideration shares issued to AlAhli Takaful Co.'s (ATC) entitled shareholders pursuant to the merger were listed, according to a bourse filing.

The merger was completed as set out in the shareholder circular issued by Arabian Shield.

According to data compiled by Argaam, Arabian Shield said the merger with AlAhli Takaful took effect on Jan. 12, pursuant to which all the assets and liabilities of the latter will be transferred to Arabian Shield.

AlAhli Takaful announced that the creditor objection period expired on Jan. 11, and that it did not receive any objections from its creditors during that period

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) delisted AlAhli Takaful Co.’s shares at the close of trading on Jan. 13.
