NADEC appoints Sulaiman Al-Tuwaijri as Managing Director

The board of directors of National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC) decided, in a meeting held on Oct. 21, to appoint board member Sulaiman Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri (independent) as the Managing Director (MD), effective Nov. 1.

The company said in a bourse statement that Al-Tuwaijri’s membership status will be amended to be an executive member.

He has an extensive experience in the field of investment, industry, business development and corporate transformation for more than 25 years by holding a number of leadership positions, the last of which was the CEO of Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.

In addition to that, he managed a number of industrial, agricultural and investment companies, and was the Chairman and member of many boards and committees for several listed companies inside and outside the Kingdom.

Al-Tuwaijri holds a PhD in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University in the United States and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

He also received several awards and honors during his career.
