Mahmoud Sulaimani, Managing Director of Siemens Energy (Saudi Arabia)

Siemens Energy’s expansion of its hub in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is considered the largest for the firm, Al Sharq TV reported, citing Managing Director Mahmoud Sulaimani.

The expansion project spans 75,000 square meters (sqm) and involves an investment of SAR 300 million, he added.

The plant expansion will contribute to the localization of the energy sector, in line with Vision 2030, and will further develop the skills of young Saudi cadres working at the plant.

It is also working on several projects in maintenance and installations in the neighboring countries, which rely on Saudi workforce.
