Saudi Arabia starts trial operation of Riyad bus project

King Abdulaziz Project for Public Transport in Riyadh started, today, Sept. 1, trial operation of the bus project, in preparation for receiving passengers after completing all tests.

The project management clarified that the bus network will be subject to a strict testing program to ensure that all equipment, devices, and operating systems meet the highest international standards for safety, efficiency, quality, and comfort. This aims to provide a distinct experience for the residents and visitors of Riyadh.

The management indicated that more than 3,000 stations and stopovers along the network's 80 paths were tested, adding that it will unveil the date for receiving passengers, ticket prices and activating purchase channels, including electronic applications later.
