Ministry of Industry licenses 59 new factories worth SAR 532 mln in May

Saudi Arabia licensed 59 new factories worth SAR 532 million in May 2021, recent data issued by Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources showed.

The total number of factories that began actual production reached 33 last month.

The total number of existing and under-construction factories hit 10,070 across the Kingdom.

The total number of Saudi and expat workers in the industrial sector increased by 4,320 and 2,433, respectively in May.
