Knowledge City approves CEO Sami Almakhdoub’s contract non-renewal request

Knowledge Economic City’s (KEC) board of directors approved today, June 3, 2021, the request of chief executive officer (CEO) Sami Almakhdhoub to not renew his employment contract, which expires on Sept. 30, 2021, citing personal circumstances.

The company said in a bourse filing that the notification complies with the statutory period specified in his employment contract.

Almakhdhoub will continue performing his duties as CEO until the expiration date of his employment contract or upon the appointment of another CEO before the contract expiry date, the statement noted.
