Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said today, April 20, 2021, that Saudi Arabia is planning to organize an annual summit for the Green Middle East Initiative.

 

The summit will be held in presence of prominent leaders and officials in the environment filed, the Crown Prince added, affirming in a phone call with China’s President, Xi Jinping, that China will be a key partner of the initiative.

 

Jinping affirmed that Beijing was willing to push its strategic partnership with Riyadh "to a new level", Reuters reported.

 

The two leaders also discussed boosting cooperation in energy, trade and technology.
