Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) signed today, March 8, 2021, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with King Saud University Health Co. to develop a framework for establishing, operating, and providing medical services through virtual clinics.
The move aims to provide remote treatment methods that allow individuals, facilities and practitioners to interact and communicate with healthcare providers, facilitate procedures, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system, and produce satisfactory solutions, MIS said in a statement to Tadawul.
The duration of the MoU is six months from the date of signing.
The financial impact cannot be determined at this stage, and will be revealed in due course, the statement said, adding that there are no related parties.
The MoU is in line with an agreement signed by MIS, in February 2021, with InTouch Health Co. to create virtual clinics through a digital system using cloud technology, in order to provide virtual health and medical services inside and outside the Kingdom.
