Saudi Specialized Products Co. (Wahaj) obtained a license from London-based BAE Systems to manufacture mechanical components of the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft in the Kingdom.

 

The move reflects Wahaj’s commitment to manufacture of high-quality products and its keenness to localize these industries, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, Saudi Press Agency reported, quoting Wahaj CEO Ayman Al Hazmi.

 

He added that Wahaj is one of the AS9100-certified companies which ensures that the aviation and defense products are manufactured with high accuracy.

 

This is a good opportunity for Wahaj to be part of BAE Systems’ chain of suppliers to provide automatic components for Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft in the Kingdom, Al Hazmi said.
