Saudi Arabia is tendering SAR 1.2 billion worth of water projects in Jeddah this year, as part of upgrading the city’s infrastructure, according to a statement from the National Water Company.
These include the extension of drinking and sewage water networks, as well as the construction of treatment plants and strategic water storages.
Currently, as many as 50 projects worth SAR 8 billion are underway in Jeddah, the kingdom’s second largest city.
