The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) denied claims of varying quantities in milk bottles manufactured by some national dairy companies, in a clarification issued today, June 25, in response to a social media video circulating the false news.

The preparation and manufacturing of milk bottles at local facilities is being carried out via a controlled automated system, starting from the production of raw milk until its processing and packaging in different sizes ahead of its local market distribution.

FSC stressed that there is no room or possibility to change or modify the quantities or weight of milk packed in each bottle. Instead, this would cause a complete defect in the automated system for the production and manufacturing stages.

Furthermore, it stated that the deviation in quantities in the external appearance inside some bottles is due to being idle in a certain position for an extended period, resulting in heavy ingredients falling and light, transparent liquids rising to the top of the container.
