MIS says Riyadh Municipality cancels project award

Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) stated that Riyadh Municipality cancelled the award of a project for the maintenance and operation of computers and the development of its uses in various departments, according to a Tadawul statement.

The cancellation is to achieve the public interest as the municipality took this decision in light of the change in the operational structure of the secretariat and creation of some new agencies, which would cause a gap between the current actual need, works and services, and scope of work.

The move does not have repercussions or burdens as the implementation has not been initiated, the company added.

In November 2022, MIS won a project worth SAR 96.97 million, including value-added tax (VAT), from the Riyadh Municipality for the maintenance and operation of computers and the development of its uses in various departments, according to data available with Argaam.
