National products in some retail stores dominate 70% of total: Minister

National products showcased in some retail stores in the Kingdom range between 70-80%, Bandar AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, told Al Ekhbariya TV.
 

He also highlighted the achievements of the local industrial sector, noting that the Kingdom plans to raise the percentage of national pharmaceutical products to 50%.
 

There are partnerships between the ministry and stores to provide the products and ensure the availability of manufacturers of the products that may not be available in the Kingdom, AlKhorayef said.
 

He added that the partnerships also aim to strengthen the supply chains and provide distribution centers, which helps reduce costs.
