King Salman extends service tenure of ElKuwaiz as CMA chairman by 4 years

King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques


Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal decree, extending the service tenure of Mohammed ElKuwaiz, as the chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) by additional four years, effective today, June 7, 2021.

 

ElKuwaiz was appointed as CMA vice chairman in August 2016, and then was named as the chairman on July 20, 2017, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

He holds a Bachelor's degree with law honors from King Saud University in 1998, and a Master of Administrative Science from Stern School of Business, New York University, in 2003, specializing in financial management and business initiatives.
