Saudi-based contractor Al Bawani Co. secured a contract from Asharqiya Chamber to build a new commercial tower in the Kingdom's Eastern Province.
The Al Kharwa Investment Tower project, being built at an investment of SAR 335 million, will be located next to the headquarters of Asharqia President’s House.
The design of the project will take into account the various needs of the business sector and aims to facilitate their work and improve performance, Al Bawani said in a statement.
"The project is seen as a distinctive addition to the development movement in the region and a vehicle to attract a variety of investments," Abdulhakim bin Hamad Al Khalidi, chairman of Asharqia, said.
"The selection of a national company to implement this large project confirms the readiness of national institutions and companies and their ability to implement major national projects," he added.
