Saudi Arabia’s deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Salman will head to the United States today on an official visit where he will discuss bilateral relations and other key issues with a number of officials.
Salman will be in Washington DC until June 16 and will later travel to New York to meet with financial firms. Economic reforms under the Saudi Vision 2030 plan will be a main topic on the agenda as the kingdom seeks to lure foreign investors.
The news comes nearly a week after Saudi Arabia unveiled its National Transformation Program (NTP), the roadmap for achieving targets outlined in Vision 2030. Attracting foreign investments and private sector partnerships are among some of the key goals mentioned in the plan.
