The international rig count rose by 629 units in February, bringing the total count to 1,813 from 1,784 rigs in January , data of energy services firm Baker Hughes showed.

 

The oil rigs in the Middle East rose by one unit MoM and by 22 units year-on-year (YoY) to 329.

 

The international rig count, except for the US and Canada, decreased by seven units month-on-month (MoM) to 958.
