Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim emphasized that Saudi Arabia's 2050 goals require more investments in various initiatives beyond current plans.

During a panel discussion at the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) Forum, Alibrahim stated that Vision 2030 is the roadmap for youth empowerment and a robust economy, as well as enhancing sustainable energy development, adding that the Kingdom strengthened private-sector investment roles and other investment tools.

In addition, the minister emphasized Saudi Arabia's focus on improving national institutional efficiency across the board, allowing it to achieve robust revenues to finance green and environmental projects, including projects to reduce carbon emissions.

Alibrahim also highlighted the Kingdom's willingness to learn from the experiences of other countries, recognizing the differences in international engagement, governance, and financial frameworks.
