Saudi economic transformation helps open new sectors, offer promising investment opportunities: Minister

Both Saudi Arabia and the US have deep trade ties, Minister of Commerce, Majed Al-Qasabi, told the Saudi-American Business Forum.

He added that the Saudi economy, since the launch of Vision 2030, has witnessed a transformation that led to opening several new sectors and offering promising opportunities for the business sector.

The reforms made by the Kingdom came in line with Vision 2030, to diversify the economy, open the door to economic opportunities in several local sectors, as well as develop trade and investment, the minister said.

He pointed out that the world faces several challenges, such as epidemics, climate change, international crises and food security. Regardless of such challenges, the Kingdom is still able to achieve this vision, thanks to the permanent follow-up of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
