HRSD minister says over 777,000 freelance documents issued, more than 0.5 mln freelancers registered

Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), said that more than 777,230 freelance documents were issued, as well as over 500,000 freelancers were registered on the freelance platform.

 

More than nine categories obtained freelance document, all of which have access to multiple services, including finance and financial support, training, documented commercial bank accounts, digital payment methods to collect their fees and dues, and registration in social insurance, Al-Rajhi said in a statement.

 

The Contract Documentation Initiative contributed to preserving the rights of enterprises and workers and reducing labor disputes and claims, with a total of more than 3.6 million contracts documented electronically.

 

The minister also emphasized on the role of the private sector and its contribution to the development of local human resources.

 

Al-Rajhi highlighted the Kingdom's success in addressing the pandemic, protecting jobs, as the number of Saudis entering the labor market increased compared to the pre-pandemic period.
