Saudi German Hospital’s head of audit committee resigns

Middle East Healthcare Co. (MEAHCO), which owns and operates the Saudi German Hospital chain, said that Ali Abdulrahman Al Gwaiz, a board member and the head of audit committee, submitted his resignation effective from July 28, 2020.

 

The resignation was submitted due to a disagreement in views among Al Gwaiz and the company’s board and executive management regarding the company’s expansion projects as well as priorities and tasks of the audit committee, the healthcare provider said in a bourse statement.

 

The board of directors also appointed Amr Khashoggi as head of the audit committee effective the same date.

 

Meanwhile the board of directors appointed Mohammad Mustafa Mohammad Bin Siddiq as board member starting from the same date until the end of the current term on September 16, 2020.

 

The decisions are not final and is subject to the general assembly’s approval.
