Middle East Specialized Cables Co. (MESC) will adopt electronic voting as of April 19 on the agenda items of its ordinary general meeting to be held on April 22, 2020, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The company said in a statement to Tadawul that shareholders will participate and vote on the meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system, as per the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) circular, issued on March 16, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
MESC’s shareholders are set to vote on audited financial statements, audit report and board report for the fiscal year 2019, as well as discharging members of the board of directors from liabilities for the same period, Argaam reported earlier.
They will also vote on appointing an external auditor to audit the company’s financials for Q2, Q3, Q4 2020 and Q1 2021 and related party transactions.
