Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (Shaker) said that the government’s precautionary measures to contain COVID-19 outbreak will have a negative impact on the operations and revenue of the company and its affiliates.
The company said in a bourse statement on Thursday that the negative impact is due to shutting down some showrooms of the company’s dealers as a result of 24-hour curfew applied in different areas within the kingdom.
It is presently difficult to assess the financial impact of the measures due to the uncertainty about the extent and timing of the measures taken, the company said.
On the private sector’s support packages, Shaker said it is working closely with relevant authorities to identify the support mechanism and feasibility.
