Saudi King Salman issued a series of royal decrees on Feb. 25 appointing Khalid Al-Falih as the Kingdom’s new investment minister, relieving Ibrahim Al-Omar, the Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), of his post.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also set up a new ministry for tourism, after converting the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) into the Kingdom’s new ministry of tourism.
Ahmed Al-Khateeb was appointed as the head of the new ministry.
